At this time, I am eager to introduce myself to the community. I’m Hakai, the Lead Developer of Primal Earth. I am so happy to have you all partake in this journey! I have a burning love for animals and they have inspired me to construct a game where you live life through their eyes as one of them.I’ve used Unreal Engine for two years – a great starting point as a programmer – and I intend to keep progressing in my skills as a leader and developer.
The idea of this game is something that I’ve had on my mind for a very long time. So, rather than sit on my thoughts any longer, I decided to create this masterpiece from the ground up. The time has come to build an amazing game with a great community, an interactive development team, and an ambitious leader that will put his all into this project.
I am excited to grow and keep learning more and more skills as a Developer.

my name is yixi and i am primal earth’s lead animator, game rig creator, 3D model sculptor and skin concept creator! i’ve always had a passion for animals since i was a little kid. from watching disney movies like bambi, spirit, ratatouille, bolt, rio and the jungle book, to playing beautifully animated games with animals like red dead redemption 2 and some of the far cry series! when i was in highschool i would even spend majority of my time in art class watching documentaries on animals and their lives. as a kid, whenever i was asked what superpower i would want to have, i’d always say shapeshifting because i believe that animals have some of the most powerful and unique strengths in the world! i aspire to have the best animations possible that everyone will love and skin designs that stay semi-realistic while still being unique and intriguing! i am always open to criticisms as well as comments or concerns. feel free to shoot me a dm or post questions in the appropriate channels! anything helps and if you see an issue with an animation, skin or something that could be improved upon, please reach out! i appreciate all of you being here to support us and ride along on this adventure this game has become one of my greatest interests after i got used to animating. it was honestly a little difficult to get the hang of rigging, texture application, material application, importing/exporting, and animation itself! i think it was most difficult to find someone who was willing to help and answer questions, but the courses i took were extremely helpful! i mostly work in blender at the moment, but all of the work is transferred to unreal engine for the game. as tricky as some of this can be, its definitely worth the effort and im so glad that i was lucky enough to get this chance!
